We are incredibly proud to have achieved World Heritage Site status, placing the Lake District alongside the Taj Mahal, the Tower of London and the Great Barrier Reef. The Lake District bid was just the start of our journey and we look forward to making the most of the opportunities that UNESCO World Heritage status will bring to our beautiful landscape and all those who love it...
