Limited edition World Heritage Little Herdy backs the bid

13 December 2016

The Lake District’s rich farming heritage is key to the bid for World Heritage status in 2017, and these World Heritage Little Herdys have been designed to   raise funds to plough into local farming projects.

The exclusive World Heritage Little Herdy has been produced by the lead commercial collaboration partner for the World Heritage campaign, Herdy UK. It has a unique neck tag displaying the World Heritage logo and farming facts to help promote the bid and share some of the reasons why the Lake District deserves international recognition as a cultural landscape

Jayne Pugh, Head of People and Communications at the Lake District National Park explains why we created World Heritage Little Herdys: “We are excited to launch the World Heritage Little Herdys as a cute Christmas gift to extend the World Heritage campaign. From every sale £5 goes into supporting an educational project around importance of farming in Cumbria.”

If you would like to make someone who loves the Lakes smile this Christmas, World Heritage Little Herdys are available for just £12.95, with £5 going towards a fund for Cumbrian farmers. Be quick and pick yours up in time for Christmas at:
